As a college student, I felt limited by the classroom—but a growing curiosity sparked my passion for travel. Exploring beyond my comfort zone, I discovered a world far more vibrant than I had imagined.
Budget travel taught me creativity and resilience. I learned to navigate cities on public transit, enjoy street food, and find affordable stays that often led to meaningful connections. Each journey offered lessons in culture, history, and humanity.
As I traveled, I saw both the beauty and the struggles of communities around the world. This awareness fueled my desire to give back—through volunteering, local clean-ups, and supporting grassroots efforts. Travel became more than sightseeing; it became a way to connect and contribute.
Now, nearly six years later, I live abroad, continuing to learn from and engage with the cultures I once dreamed of experiencing. I believe travel is not just about destinations, but about building understanding and empathy across borders.
My journey proves that meaningful travel doesn't require a big budget—just openness and intent. I hope to inspire others to explore authentically, connect deeply, and leave a positive impact wherever they go.
